Reflexology is an non invasive Holistic Therapy that uses techniques of massage and pressure to the feet and the hands , to stimulate the bodies own healing process.

Reflexology subscribe to the concept that the body is mirrored on the feet , and that the reflex points reflects specific body parts.

The course includes:

  • History , theories and practise
  • The holistic approach
  • Zones , reflex points and their relationship to organs and body functions.
  • Structure , disorders and conditions of the feet
  • Contraindications
  • Hygiene
  • First Aid
  • Business Studies
  • Sequences and techniques of treatment
  • Observation and assessments
  • Client care and consultation
  • Relaxation techniques / stress management
  • Foot Massage
  • Heat treatments
  • Anatomy and Physiology which include the following subjects:
  • Cells / Tissues
  • Skin structure and function
  • Skeletal System
  • Muscular System
  • Lymphatic System
  • Vascular System
  • Digestive System
  • Respiratory System
  • Urinary System
  • Endocrine System
  • Neurological System
  • Nutrition

Uniform and exam fees are included in the overall price and a one year AIT Insurance to work outside the college grounds for Example Mobile Services and working from home or working on Clients doing Case Studies.

Studies will lead to internationally recognised ITEC Diploma.
